The highly mobile and morphologically normal sperms are harvested by density gradient separation from the semen. The separated good sperm is enriched with special medium using highly sterile technique and the sperms are inseminated or injected into the uterus, using a canula.
Men with slightly compromised semen parameters can also benefit from IUI. A cozy room specially designed for collection is available for the male partner. The room provides absolute privacy.
We provide complete infertility basic work up of both male and female patients. In-vitro Fertilization (IVF) is a process by which egg cells are fertilized by the sperm, outside the womb-invitro and the embryo formed is then transferred back to the uterus. IVF is most beneficial for patients with blocked tubes, unexplained infertility, poor sperm parameters, endometriosis and those with ovulatory dysfunction.
In this process, the ooctye is prepared by removing its outer coat of cells called cumulus complex, once laid bare, the oocyte is held gently by a holding a pipette under an inverted microscope. The sperm is then injected into the oocyte cytoplasm through a micropipette. The embryo is then transferred back to the uterus. ICSI is ideally suited for couples with severe male factor infertility such as low sperm count, very little or complete lack of motility and abnormal shape of the sperm. ICSI is also suitable for women with previous failure, women suffering from immunological and unexplained infertility, in azoospermia and congenital absence of vas. The testicular and epididymal sperm are recovered and fertilization is achieved by ICSI.
In the past, most embryos were transferred on day three of development. When they are transferred on day five (Blastocyst stage), it is called Blastocyst culture. With suitable culture conditions, embryos are cultured upto the blastocyst stage and then transferred. This ensures selection of the best embryo. Multiple pregnancies can be reduced by transferring limited number of blastocysts. Pregnancy rate is about 70%.
Assisted hatching is a procedure in which the zona (shell) of the embryo is opened using the technique is useful in older women where the zona may be thickened and in women who have failed attempts in VIF. Pregnancy rates are upto 70% with the technique.
This programme is meant for patients who cannot produce their own eggs and sperms. We offer the donor egg/sperm programme where HEFA/ASRM American Soceity of Reproductive Medicine guidelines and quality control criteria are adopted.
Treatment with medicines for ovulation induction at the time of Assisted Reproduction produces many oocyte. As a routine, we cryopreserve the extra embryos, for future use. All embryos are coded, labelled and stored in special containers to maintain their identity.
Our sperm bank uses donor semen, which undergo stringent evaluation. The donors are tested for HIV, Hepatitis, VDRL and Gonorrhea. Besides the semen quality is ensured by following the WHO criteria. The Cryopreservation Donor Sperm Programme will be in accordance with the guidelines established by the American Fertility Society and human embryo and fertilization authority HEFA / LONDON.
Surrogates are commonly used for women with recurrent miscarriages, untreatable problems of the uterus (womb) such as recurrent fibroids, uterine or endometrial scarring (Asherman’s syndrome), prior hysterectomy or conditions were carrying the pregnancy would be a threat to the heath of the mother. Our Surrogacy programme is the largest and most successful “All in one” medical, non-agency providers of surrogate services in the WORLD. Couples living throughout India, as well as internationally, have successfully become parents with our support. The centre has delivered more than 320 babies through the surrogacy programme.
A new computer Assisted technique to identify morphologically normal sperm with normal structure to enhance pregnancy rates and decrease miscarriage rates, IMSI is based on selecting the best sperm under a magnification of more than 7000x. Using this magnification morphological defect, even small vacuoles become apparent. The technique is harmless and safe and leads to better embryo development, higher pregnancy rates and lower miscarriage rates. This is a real boon for patients with repeated IVF Failures and those with recurrent miscarriages.
It is believed that acupuncture stimulates the neurotransmitters that trigger produce gonadotropin releasing hormone that controls menstrual cycle and a women’s ovulation. It is also thought to stimulate blood flow to the uterus and boost creates endogenous opioids, inducing the body to relax.
“In conjunction with ART or even for reaching natural fertility potential, acupuncture treatment is a simple, noninvasive method that can improve sperm quality. Further research is needed to demonstrate what stages and times in spermatogenesis are affected by acupuncture, and how acupuncture causes the physiologic changes in spermatogenesis.”
